Hexcel is currently seeking an ERP Support Analyst to be located at their Salt Lake City site. The ERP Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical and business process support for end-users of company ERP system (finance, sales and marketing, customer service, logistics, production and operation support).
The selected individual will be responsible for the following efforts:
· Take ownership for incidents reported by end-users. Resolve issues in a timely manner. When escalation is required, manage escalation through resolution and closer with the customer.
· Understand the functionality of the ERP system. Must develop a working knowledge of the forms, transactions and reports available to end-users. Should be able to advise end-users on how to do transactions within the various modules of the system ranging from financial transactions to logistics to production and shipping.
· Should be fluent with business processes associated with the use of ERP and comfortable with manufacturing business terms and concepts.
· Provide administrative support for the application environment. This may include monitoring programs and processes, resetting application configuration parameters and restarting background jobs. Assist with load-balancing based on infrastructure utilization.
· Perform the administration tasks related to management of security for the installed AX system.
Qualifications
· BA or BS degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or and equivalent in Finance or Business.
· A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment. Experience to include using and supporting multiple modules of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is essential. Experience with Dynamics AX is desirable.
· Training/Coaching experience with User is essential. This would include previously having worked at all levels within an organization, from hands-on Users to Management Team members across multiple sites.
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely how the installed system functions, i.e., how business processes have been implemented within the installed system.
· Experience with MS SQL query language for the purpose of extracting data and aiding Users in developing personal scripts to improve job performance is highly desirable.
· Experienced in working with a global business group is essential.
· Internet, Intranets and Extranets: MS Office, MS Project and MS Share Point, MS SQL Query Language
· Understanding of SQL relationship concepts (ERD or UML concepts)
· APICS Training / Certification desired.
· Ability to communicate fluently in English. Second language would be a plus.
