Description

The WCTO Electronic Service Operations (ESO) supports electronic payment initiation and processing for Working Capital Solutions within the PSIS sector. The group is responsible for managing and controlling high levels of risk and liability inherent in the various automated payment functions. The incumbent will support online systems error investigations, including, ability to research datasets in multiple data formats and multiple platforms; Unix, IBM Mainframe, and PC/LAN, able to use system directories, files and logs for research and have knowledge of overall online transaction processing, how to pinpoint problems using various payment frameworks, and communicate issues and impacts to management. S/he will investigate individual technical problems within various payment standards/methodologies including, Wire Transfer, ACH, iTelecash, and EDI X12 structures. S/he will identify and resolve exceptions in the computer processes and communicate to affected parties. S/he will actively use procedures, process flows and technical knowledge for problem solving to perform daily production monitoring. S/he will perform setup, testing and turnover of all processes with minimal assistance in accordance to policies and procedures. The candidate will work independently on small-to-medium individual projects.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have a BS/BA degree and/or have 3+ years experience in an information-processing environment. He/she will have both project management or technical skills, and have a technical knowledge of 2-3 ESO products. Candidate should have experience in payment origination and receivables. Experience in call center operation, with banking and electronic payment products is a benefit. The incumbent must possess excellent customer service phone skills, oral and written communications. Strong working knowledge of online transaction systems, Windows technologies, Internet browsers, plus MS Office proficiency. The incumbent must also be able to adhere to strict deadlines, work well under pressure, and have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks as directed by senior Process Analyst.
