Estimating Manager - Mining
Job Description We are looking for someone to provide leadership to our regional estimating group for the development of capital cost, service fee or operating cost type estimates undertaken by the Minerals and Industry (MI) group. In this role you will also provide administrative and supervisory responsibility on multiple projects of all sizes and types. Projects may include bids, studies or works execution. Technical skills shall cover estimating of all construction disciplines, project indirects, management fees, contingency development, risk analysis and planning and scheduling. You will be responsible for the personal development of direct reports and the development and maintenance of cost libraries, procedures and supporting software. The role may require a hands on approach to managing the whole of the estimating process for singular projects. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: - Preferred tertiary qualifications in an Engineering, Project Management or related construction discipline - 10 to 15 years industry experience - 5 to 10 years estimating/management experience - Knowledge of Quest Estimating System is preferable - Membership of AACE or similar professional bodies
