Excellent opportunity to join this leading international technology provider, since establishing its Australian operation in 1998 they have become a leading supplier of secure smart cards and complex systems solutions in telecommunications, electronic payment, health care, identification, transportation and IT security.

 

With an advanced technological facility and ever growing customer base they now are seeking and an experience Estimator / Buyer to join their Supply Chain team.

 

Your primary function is to provide accurate and detailed material and labour costs of new and existing products.  This will include preparation of materials and labour costing, developing and maintaining accurate costing systems relating to labour, production methods and materials supply, liaising with suppliers on new product designs and developments and providing structured reporting relating to material and labour costings.

 

With previous experience in Estimating / Buying, you have ideally had exposure to the manufacturing industry.  You know how to problem solve, can work in a team and autonomously, and have strong analytical abilities. Your communication skills and positive attitude are also key strengths. .  You enjoy the variety and challenges of working as a part of a busy and dynamic team, along with being proficient with Microsoft Excel and MRP systems, preferably Pronto.
