Job Description:
This is an opportunity to work with Deutsche Asset Wealth Management and the DB-X Trackers, the fifth largest ETF provider globally. The Business Development Associate position will focus on driving assets and revenues by working directly with the ETF specialists to provide consultative solutions as a result of building strong client relationships and demonstrating industry excellence. The BDA will serve as a strategic liaison in delivering DB-X Trackers portfolio Solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
Drive Net New Assets (NNA) and Net New Revenue (NNR), executing a consultative sales approach within a defined geographic territory
As a member of the team, the BDA will actively participate in the business management and territory planning with the ETF specialist
Successfully use the telephone to identify new opportunities and further current sales cycles; client profiling, lead identification, follow-up activity, setting up meetings and sales execution
High level of client interaction with a consultative sales approach
Ability to present quantitative (analytical) and qualitative benefits of ETF investing, as well as delineate the unique value proposition of Deutsche Asset Wealth Management and DB-X Trackers
Produce and deliver analytical solutions to prospects and clients using tools such as Bloomberg and Morningstar.
Use creative thinking to target clients and develop customized sales strategies
Demonstrate high activity levels and exceed the minimum activity standards
Deliver on the needs of prospects/clients by matching up the internal resources of Deutsche Bank with the specific need of each client
Manage day-day operational duties: maintain CRM database, scheduling for specialist, weekly activity reporting, expense reporting, and managing the individual sales cycles of each client
Requirements:
BA/BS degree required
Series 7 and 66 (or 63 65) required (will sponsor)
3+ years of industry experience in ETF, mutual fund, or brokerage industry
Ability to develop relationships with advisors and position investment ideas and other value added services that generate sales and assets
High energy, motivated individual, committed to excellence and the building of a business
Strong phone selling skills
Solid presentation skills on both phone and in-person
Ability to work in a team environment
Clean U4 and no prior firm contractual restrictions regarding distribution of investment products
