Job Description:

If you are a ETL Developer with 5+ years experience, please read on! We offer a salary of $90-$100K. We are currently seeking an Extraction Transformation and Load (ETL) Developer for a data cleansing project. The ETL Developer will be part of a team to load XML data feeds from various sources into the data mart. The ETL Developer will also be responsible for ETL processes and tools as well as database loading and manipulation. This individual will carry primary responsibility for ensuring that the data needs for the project are met throughout the course of the project. In addition, the Developer will assist with Java programming as needed in a J2EE environment. This individual should be experienced working with XML files and XSLT.

Required Experience:

-Over 4-5 years ETL development background.
-Experienced in best practices design of ETL implementations in a high volume environment, including ETL software, database and hardware tuning.
-Applicant should be knowledgeable and experienced in all types of data modeling, including strong dimensional modeling techniques.
-Applicant should be experienced with ETL development (Informatica) in a very large database environment.
-Experience with data quality tools and knowledgeable in data quality approaches and techniques.
-Four or more years of experience in data management or computer programming.
-Experience working with relational databases programming concepts.
-Three years of hands-on experience with Informatica application for the ETL tools.
-Detailed knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Mart physical RDBMS schemata.
-Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.(Must be a US Citizen)

Technical Competencies:

-Excellent working knowledge of RDBMS and other data technologies e.g., Oracle, Unix, IDMS
-Working knowledge of SQL Server, IBM DB2, UDB), XSLT, Java, J2EE.
-Strong shell scripting experience.

Desired Elements:

-Security clearance desired.
-Agile Scrum desired
-Bachelor’s degree in data management, computer science or related field.
