One of my Fund Management clients is going through a considerable amount of change across their End User Computing Function. They are elevating the visibility of End User Computing within the company to make it more business facing resulting in projects across Desktops, Mobile, Tablets, Unified Communications, Video and Voice.

They now require a Project Manager with strong End User Computing experience to come and join the IT Services team. There are many projects to be delivered including new processes and policies, new Target Operating Models, upgrades of all end user technology and a review of bring your own device policy and security measures.

To be successful in this role, they are looking for people who have a strong understanding of various End User Computer devices and have managed various projects including desktops, tablets, mobile phones and desktop applications. This client also follows a strict ITIL frameworks and has some of their infrastructure with an outsourced provider so experience with this form of environment would also be beneficial.

Essential experience:
• Strong End User Computing experience (Desktops, Mobile devices, Tablets, Desktop applications)
• Professional Services experience (eg FTSE100, Insurance or Law firm, IT Service Provider, Fund Manager, Consultancy, Financial Services firm).
• Familiar working in outsourced environments.
• Extensive experience managing IT projects including planning, execution and control for End User Computing projects.
• Able to work with Senior Stakeholders and get them on board.
• Articulate, professional with strong people management skills.
