European focused sales – hedge fund recruitment
This fund has been around for more than ten years has weathered the recent downturn.
They have both hedge funds and traditional products focused on one asset class.
The investment team is well known in their space the business is known to most investors.
You will work alongside other sales marketing people and be fully involved in the asset raising process from start to finish; cold calling, presenting, travelling, RFP’s etc when appropriate, closing, managing ongoing relationships.
Geographies and corresponding languages of particular interest include; Nordics, Benelux, France, Germany etc
You will be expected to have a rolodex of some description be pro-active in your approach to developing business.
It is envisaged that the appointee will have experience raising money for an investment management company. You will have focused on the institutional market, i.e. pension funds, insurance companies, investment consultants etc
Good academics and European language skills are essential.
