European Institutional Sales

Our client is a leading global fund placement boutique that has raised over $50bn in capital to date across the entire range of alternative investment products including hedge funds. We wish to appoint an experienced capital raiser to join their London team.

Responsibilities to include:

·         Create and maintain key investor relationships

·         Identify new potential investors

·         Research and monitor investor appetite for specific alternative investment products

·         Lead road shows

·         Manage the closing process

Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate several years capital raising/placement and/or sales experience combined with a strong technical understanding of alternative investments.  You will be highly entrepreneurial and also enjoy working in a team environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a trusted advisor approach, credibility to deal with senior level clients and a positive, enthusiastic outlook are some of the qualities we would expect to see in the appointed candidate.

Ideal applicants are likely to have a sales / capital raising background within the private equity, real estate or infrastructure sectors and will have a verifiable track record in raising capital from institutional investors in Europe.
