Evaluations Operations Analyst recruitment
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Evaluated Services Operations Analyst will be to support the fixed income evaluation teams in a variety of ways that will assist with improving overall process efficiency and productivity. The role includes participating and assisting in projects related to overall quality improvement, including testing and troubleshooting new applications.
The Analyst will work closely with the EVS management team, evaluators, and other internal and external groups to assist in carrying out specific initiatives. The scope of this position involves frequent interaction with global and local Interactive Data groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tools that will facilitate evaluator productivity, including developing Excel macros, SQL queries, writing procedures documents, and training users.
- Support the different evaluation groups by performing special tasks when needed.
- Provide guidance to evaluators relative to questions and problems pertaining to the SPER database.
- Liaise with the global Customer Service organization to articulate problems encountered by evaluators related to evaluation challenges logged.
- Demonstrate customer focus, commitment, proactive attitude, and teamwork at all times.
- Liaise with EVS managers to monitor Citrix use by EVS staff and maintain a problems log.
- Follow up with IT helpdesk regarding problem resolutions.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of fixed income terminology and security attributes
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, including the ability to create macros
- Knowledge of Power Point and Word for reporting purposes
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries
- Superior communication skills
- Willingness to work extra hours as needed to accomplish time-critical tasks
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics
