Events Manager recruitment

Role Responsibilities:

• To work alongside the Events and Sponsorship Manager to plan, budget and manage client event activity, positioning the product range according to the group’s broader marketing strategy

• To research and understand the changing characteristics and strategy of the different sales distribution channels to successfully target clients

• To take ownership and responsibility for client events from the initial concept and design through to event attendance and follow up

• To work with fund managers, economists and analysts, enabling a thorough understanding of our products and how best to represent them across marketing material

• To lead idea generation for new marketing initiatives to achieve stand out from our peers in our client events and face-to-face client contact

Sills Experience:

• 8 years’ experience working in asset management

• A minimum of 5 years dedicated to event management, including strategic and hands-on involvement

• Ability to work as part of a small team spearheading our event strategy

• Independently manage projects, according to strict deadlines and budgets

• Be a high-achieving graduate, with an eye for detail and a focus on client service and excellence

• Have proven written and verbal communication skills; examples of written marketing collateral generated by the candidate would be appreciated
