EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A NEWLY QUALIFIED ACA OR ACCA WITH SUBSTANTIAL EXPERIENCE IN AUDIT GAINED WITHIN A PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE TO JOIN ONE OF THE LEADING TEAMS IN DORSET
Our client is a leading accountancy practice firm and they are looking to appoint an Audit Senior who will be primarily responsible for the highest standards of professional services delivery, through the supervision and organisation of staff and the performance of audit services to all clients across a range of industry sectors. Client turnover typically is in the range £5m - £50m and work will be performed with limited supervision.
As the successful candidate, you will take responsibility for all aspects of planning including budgeting resourcing, coordinating manager and partner, client meetings and visits. Where appropriate, they will allocate work to team members based on skill and knowledge of team members, ensuring meet development objectives: in particular assigning more responsibility to more junior staff.
They will act as a point of contact for both manager and client, ensuring both are kept fully informed of any issues arising and the progress of the audit, reviewing actual to budgeted time and inform manager of any issues immediately, as well as building strong working relationships with the clients, ensuring any problems or requests are dealt with promptly.
It is likely that successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or possibly part qualified and near qualification) and be able to demonstrate and apply advanced technical, commercial and industry knowledge to the role, identifying issues and solutions. They will be able to take ownership of projects, effectively delegating to others within the team and taking responsibility for quality control.
