Job Summary:
Assist and Support CEO in a broad variety of duties relevant to the day to day operations and requirements of the CEO.
Duties to include:
- Schedule and maintain calendar
- Make and monitor Executive’s travel arrangements
- Drafting documents and emails
- Additional duties upon request
The ideal candidate should possess a demonstrable skill set and personality allowing them to perform as follows:
- Comfortable working closely with a dynamic and direct Senior Executive, on a broad, ever-changing and challenging variety of tasks
- Confident and professional in communication, thereby able to forge a business partnership with the CEO including understanding his responsibilities, and subsequent demands and availability; able to correct CEO’s grammar in emails etc.
- Extremely organized, detail oriented and accuracy focused, with exceptional foresight and a fairly high stress tolerance. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter: Must be natural at taking initiative and pre-emptive actions as required to assist the CEO in getting the job done as efficiently as possible. Procrastinators need not apply
- Flexible: Understands that working for a CEO of a startup of this level dictates that job duties/requests may change on a moment’s notice
- Challenged, rather than intimidated, by taking on new responsibilities and/or projects under deadlines enjoys the rush of a productive day.
- Communication: Excellent phone manners and Email correspondence, especially in being able to deal effectively, professionally and cordially with other high level CEO’s, investors, board members etc. Must have superior writing skills.
- Advanced Computer Software skills and experience in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Advanced Internet search/research.
