POSITION OVERVIEW:
The focus of this position will be to provide executive service to our Managing Director – Global Head of Index and ESG Research.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extensive diary management
- Planning and coordinating extensive travel schedules world wide
- Organizing and overseeing internal and external meetings including visits of foreign delegations
- Collaborating closely with Assistants worldwide
- Coordinating with our Marketing Sales department for Client Consultations
- Organizing weekly, monthly and quarterly Index review meetings with Senior Managers or members of the MSCI’s Executive Committee
- Participating in the preparation of our Department’s input to MSCI’s weekly management call
- Screening telephone calls, taking accurate messages
- Reconciling travel expenses
- Daily updates to the Managing Director regarding pending / outstanding issues
- Act as point of contact between Staff and Managing Director
- Provide back up support for other senior management’s Assistants
- Handling highly confidential information
- Compiling of data, creation of presentations, documentation
- Setting up of LiveMeeting, Skype, video conference and webcam based meeting connections
- Ad hoc personal tasks
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 – 10 years of related work experience in an international environment
- Native English speaker, any other language would be an asset but not a requirement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask in a high intensity environment
- High motivation and ability to work independently
- Confidence to interact with senior level management
