Macquarie's business is structured into six operating groups and four service groups. Macquarie Securities Group (MSG) is a global institutional securities house covering sales, research, ECM, execution and derivatives and delta one activities. MSG uses its research and risk management skills to develop equity-based solutions and services for clients internationally.
We are currently seeking a Executive Assistant in our New York office. This is a fast paced position supporting a team of managers and traders across multiple desks.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international)
- Prepare and submit expense reports for the team
- Prepare/edit PowerPoint and Word documents
- Regularly enter and maintain contact and meeting data in our CRM database
- Record and enter attendance and leave requests for your team
- Prepare documents including printing, binding, scanning, faxing of documents
- Arrange courier and overnight shipments
- Assist with ordering, stocking and maintaining office supplies
- Work on assigned projects with minimal supervision
- Work with other assistants to provide general office support and back up coverage as needed.
To be successful, you will have:
- Desk/administrative experience in an equity trading/sales environment, providing team support in a fast paced environment
- Great organization and communication skills, be a people person with initiative and the ability to be resourceful
- Strong attention to detail and team focus
- A flexible, can-do attitude
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
