Executive Director – Client Development and Sales recruitment

My client, a leading commodity exchange with global presence, is seeking an Executive Director client Development and Sales, to be based out of their Singapore office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Client Development Sales within the Banking sector throughout Asia Pacific and will focus on executing the Asian and Global sales strategies relating to the banking client segment. This individual will play an important role in maintaining both existing relationships with banks in Asia Pacific and developing new customer relationships. The goal is to grow relationships, volume and revenue both in the short and longer term.

You will be required to maintain a thorough understanding of the cash/OTC and listed derivatives marketplaces as you will need to create relationships and opportunities to present the groups capabilities; support strategic initiatives such as OTC road shows, educational forums, etc to advance knowledge of the exchange and their offerings within the Bank segment.

You must be able to demonstrable experience executing successful sales/account strategies and plans and have strong customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organisation including senior level management. This role requires 8 to 12 + years experience in derivatives sales and marketing and ideally between 2 and 5+ years experience gained from working with the banking Sector.
