Executive Director Finance / CFO
For a leading bank on The Netherlands Antilles we are looking for a CFO, enabling the further professionalization of financial control ensuring financial stability.
As a member of the Bank’s Management Team the CFO is overall responsible for the financial operating results. Providing leadership and coordination in business planning, accounting, reporting and budgeting. Assuring compliance with budgetary reporting requirements. The CFO is a strong business partner for Management and drives major strategic decisions that have an impact on the Bank’s long-term prospect.
The ideal candidate has a strong financial track record in commercial banking in the Netherlands or elsewhere in European banking, and wants to make a step to full responsibility for the bank’s finance process.
Requirements:
· Master Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
· A minimum of ten years of experience directly related to Senior Level Accounting/Finance in a commercial banking environment, where at least 5 years must have been in managerial capacity;
· Fully functional with all aspects of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, reporting and MIS in banking.
· Outstanding technical accounting and finance skills – solid knowledge of accounting regulations (e.g. Dutch);
· Experience in strategic planning and execution.
· Excellent advisory skills and ability to translate figures into understandable and pragmatic business advice;
· Ability to motivate teams to produce quality deliverables within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
· Strong communication skills in English (oral and written);

Remuneration
The candidate will be hired on a permanent basis with excellent local salary conditions. Moving allowances and relocation assistance are provided for.
