Executive Manager, Group Strategic Initiatives
As a member of the GSI Program Delivery Leadership Team and via direct line management of allocated GSI Program Delivery staff, assist with and oversee their performance and development to ensure highest quality and capable resources are available to support the delivery of the GSI program into the all BU's and subsidiaries across the CBA group.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead and execute projects/initiatives by leading and/or guiding the delivery of the identified and allocated GSI program, projects and initiatives
- Apply Lean Six Sigma, Business Acumen, Leadership, Change Management and Project Management experience to determine optimal approach in complex / multi-dimensional and cross BU environments
- Support GSI BU Leads sponsor major change initiatives for the benefit of the BU and the Group
- Establish continuous improvement and mature process management practices within the businesses
- Influence adoption and application of productivity principles and tools in the Group
- Build productivity competence, coach GSI and business people in learning and applying the Productivity tools and methodology via the delivery of projects and initiatives e.g. lean deployments, end-to-end process projects, kaizen events and continuous improvement programs
- Plan and co-ordinate own /or project/initiative team work to meet commitments and quality criteria
- Provide effective leadership, within GSI and to project teams and work productively as a team member
- Participate and contribute to initiatives that search for and then execute on efficiency initiatives by undertaking business diagnostics to assist in the identification of productivity improvement opportunities
- Determine appropriate actions to overcome resistance to change and build support for outcomes and manage environmental and other aspects of change across diverse stakeholder groups
- Recruit, induct, develop and retain GSI staff via line management responsibilities
- Maintain advanced, in depth knowledge of productivity tools and methodology, Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the productivity toolset and approach and actively promote the sharing of knowledge across the GSI and productivity communities
To be successful you will have:
- Managed multi discipline, complex, strategically important productivity and capability build programs
- Advanced Lean Six Sigma / Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Large-scale Project/Program Management experience
- Leadership and Stakeholder Management experience
- Solid prior experience in productivity/process improvement/Lean Six Sigma delivery environment
- Coached, Trained Accredited people in the process organisation
