Executive – Product Controller – Fund Linked Products recruitment
The Financial Management Group (FMG) provides financial, tax and treasury services to all areas of Macquarie.
Macquarie Funds Group (MFG) is Macquarie Group's funds management business. MFG is a full-service asset manager, offering a diverse range of capabilities and products including infrastructure and real asset management, securities investment management and structured access to funds, equity-based products and alternative assets.
This role supports the Macquarie Structured Investment Solutions (MSIS) business. The MSIS division specialises in structuring and distributing a range of fund and equity based structured products independently and through joint ventures. Specific solutions including lending, protected lending, fund linked derivatives and lifetime income products. MSIS's global base includes retail investors, private banks and institutions.
This position sits within the financial control team and responsibilities will include:
- Daily PL reporting of the trading book that supports the fund linked products team
- Month end close of the trading book
- Daily interaction with the Trading Desk
- Month end close of products, balance sheet and PL reporting
- Support the compilation of central reporting requests to various teams, including management reporting and Group Finance
- Support the implementation of the financial control framework
The successful candidate will be CA / CPA qualified with demonstrable post qualified experience within Product Control. With a strong technical skillset and a detailed understanding of banking products, those with exposure to Structured Products will be favourably regarded.
