Executive Recruiter, Corporate Function recruitment
J.P.Morgan Chase is hiring an experienced lateral Recruiter mainly to support hiring requirements in Hong Kong. The candidate will have additional exposure as a supporting role to the HR Business Partners for Corporate Functions in preparing various HR metrics, and other ad hoc tasks as and when needed.
This role has responsibility for the delivery of a high quality end to end recruitment service to the J.P.Morgan Corporate Sector. The main objective will be to deliver an exceptional recruitment service resulting in reduced costs, an enhanced applicant experience and efficiencies in process. This will include end to end management of the recruitment process for all internal and external hires.
Responsibilities include:
- Building strong client relationships - partnering with Hiring Managers to define their staffing needs and agree best practice recruiting strategy
- Using the J.P.Morgan recruitment database, Taleo, to post vacancies, advertise internally and externally, track candidates, correspond with candidates and initiate offers
- Sourcing candidates directly, through job boards, referrals, networking
- Screening CVs, completing telephone screens of short-listed candidates where required
- Conducting behavioural competency based interviews where required
- Structuring and negotiation of compensation with successful candidates, agencies and Hiring Managers, in conjunction with local HR Business Partner
- Ownership of seamless offer administration and on-boarding process, in conjunction with the HR team
- Supporting and advising management, demonstrating advanced knowledge and subject matter expertise within recruitment
- Providing regular reporting updates and attending appropriate business management meetings
- Constantly collecting market intelligence based on information gathered through interviewing candidates and liaising with recruitment agencies to be shared with Management
- Maintaining and developing productive relationships with key suppliers including negotiating and managing terms of business and resolving any disputes which may arise
- Actively promoting internal mobility and internal referrals
- Delivery of specific recruitment projects as required
- Data analysis, policy interpretation and HR transactions
Skills
Essential Skills/Experience
- Solid HR / in house recruitment background with a thorough knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment process
- Possess an outstanding level of attention to detail
- Organised, with the ability to multitask, manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Team player and have the ability to build partnerships with clients, vendors and HR colleagues
- Excellent direct sourcing skill
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience of recruiting within the financial services sector preferred
- Skills in Excel and Powerpoint
