Executive Search – Graduate Researcher recruitment

Working with our Head of Research you will be expected to be able to identify candidates for specific recruitment assignments undertaken by Riversdale Consulting for a number of high profile clients within the Investment Banking industry.

After some initial training you should be able to do this by working from a mixture of spread sheets, databases, the internet, advertising and the use of extensive industry databases. The utilisation of social media and professional networking sights are also an essential tool in the identification of key individuals that would be suitable for a variety of high level opportunities.

You should be enthusiastic and patient be prepared to use your own initiative and not be afraid to ask questions and definitely not someone that gives up easily.

Once identified you should be confident and comfortable using your excellent verbal communications skills to call the candidates and deliver a short punchy brief before passing them to the Managing Consultant for a fuller description of the opportunity if applicable.

You should possess the ability to work closely with Directors and Managing Consultants and assist them in managing the logistics of the recruitment process – from interview through to offer.

Maintaining and updating the candidate databases, spreadsheets and market maps as well as marketing job opportunities to both new and existing candidates.

To attend client meetings and have the ability to understand a clients requirements.

To communicate the clients requirements to candidates clearly and effectively.

To be organised and methodical during the research/recruitment process so you are aware of exactly what is happening at any given time.

To develop long term, trusted and mutually beneficial relationships with candidates and clients

To have the ability and drive to progress from a pure research position into a more senior research or account management role where you would take responsibility for your own assignments.

Research can often be a long and painstaking task and needs thoroughness and dedication to be successful as well as hours spent staring at a computer screen!
