Requires a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to an executive. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


Duties:

-   Welcoming visitors, reviewing correspondence; arranging company and other functions; answering questions and meeting requests.

-   Helps key executives make consistent decisions by advising them of historical precedents; serving as liaison between them and stakeholders.

-   Arranges corporate travel and meetings by developing itineraries and agendas; scheduling; booking other transportation; arranging lodging and meeting accommodations.

-   Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.

-   Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

-    Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.

-    Enhances the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

-    Support technical, engineering, and scientific subcommittees scheduling, meetings, handouts, official records, policies, procedures, agendas, minutes, rosters, correspondence, and other administrative duties as required.

-    Lead in the provision of high quality support for the committees, associated Task groups and 

networks. 

-    Maintain good, close, working relationship with the stakeholders.   

-  Improvement of organization’s effectiveness through the operation of policy and programs. 

-    Ensure that the management and administration of the organization are efficient, effective and fit 

for purpose; and
I
nsure the smooth running of the Secretariat by taking a key role in the management, leadership and administration of the key staff team

a) Qualifications (BS; Master’s Degree a plus)

·         Other professional qualifications (B/S or Master’s Degree or above in a relevant subject) 

·         Excellent written/communication Skills.
