Description:

You will be part of a highly skilled technical team providing support to the firm's top Executives. You must be fluent in English and have solid technical and presentation skills and be adept at prioritization of incidents. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with Executives within a global financial services institution and would be able to identify recurring problems and work toward root cause analysis with proactive preventative solutions. You must also be able to work with a global team to ensure consistency of service while promoting an industry leading End User Experience.

Duties and Accountabilities:

In your role as Executive Services Technician, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Master's degree in Information Technology with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial institution industry
 

• Good communication and multi-tasking skills
 

• 5 to 8 years desktop support experience
 

• Supporting conference room audio and video equipment
 

• Supporting TelePresence, Tandbergs, and other desktop video solutions
 

• Familiarity with emerging end user technologies (i.e. Phones, iPads, Android based phones)
 

• Supporting Operating Systems (XP, Windows 7, Mac, Blackberry, iOS)
 

• Supporting Software (Microsoft Exchange, MS Office, MS SharePoint, MS Lync – Live
 

• Meeting Meeting Place, Browsers, Internet Explorer, Chat, Good for Enterprise)
 

• Supporting and configuring Mobile Devices (Blackberry, IPhone, Ipad)
 

• MDS Apps (Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset)
 

• Hardware experience (Dell, HP, Avistar, TelePresence, Audio / Visual)
 

• Network skills (Wi-Fi, Mi-Fi, Routers, Hubs)
 

• Ability to work independently and to manage competing priorities
 

• Excellent skills/abilities in: organization, planning, multi-tasking, flexibility
 

• Extreme level of discretion in handling confidential information
 

• Excellent desktop support skills and personal communication skills with senior Executives
 

• Knowledge of Windows networking fundamentals including routing, TCP/IP, DNS DHCP
 

• Vendor support coordination and service ownership
 

• Strong skills associated with bridging technical problems that cross functions, such as understanding cause and effect and root cause relationships for complex IT problems

Requirements:

• 24x7 support (on-call availability required)
 

• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on workstations, laptops and personal technology devices running Windows and Apple operating systems
 

• Ensuring desktop and personal devices interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including authentication systems, file, email and application servers as well as administrative systems
 

• Home support including troubleshooting of software, hardware and network devices
 

• Direct interaction with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems
 

• Collaboration with other IT teams as appropriate to determine and resolve issues
 

• Pre-meeting and in-room conference room testing and support of audio / visual equipment as needed
 

• Onsite support of internal and external meetings and Events (i.e. Board Meetings, Stock Holder Meetings, Town Halls)
 

• Developing and maintaining operational and configuration documentation for all supported hardware and software
 

• Conducting research and remain current on emerging products, services, protocols and standards and provide recommendations for technical enhancements
 

• Preventative maintenance and diagnostic activities
 

• Travelling to off campus locations to provide technical assistance when required
 

• Maintenance of Executives' software and hardware inventories
 

• Configuring multiple monitors
 

• Mapping network drives
