Senior Accountant – Regulatory Reporting (Ref. no: SA-RR/LRP170512) recruitment
Our client is a leading international bank with a strong reputation within the Asia Pacific region. They are currently recruiting for a Mid level position within their financial control team; a Senior Accountant for Regulatory Reporting.
You will be responsible for preparing all regulatory returns for the Hong Kong branch. You will prepare full sets of regulatory returns for HKMA, including Capital Adequacy Ratio, liquidity return, asset and liability return, PL return etc. You will also prepare other returns for SFC and work on daily risk monitoring. You will also work on other financial control tasks, including monthly book closing, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly financial commentary for management reporting and head office reporting. You may also need to participate in UAT for various regulatory reporting tools and processes.
You must be a qualified accountant with CPA or equivalent. It is essential that you have experience of preparing CAR returns and general HKMA reporting. You must have at least 4 years of experience within the banking/ auditing industry. You should also have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.
