Exotic Derivatives Product Control Associate recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly production of the Independent PL Report
• Proactive investigation and resolution of differences between the traders flash PL and the Product Control PL. Balance Sheet Substantiation
• Assure proper reporting of results via the month end close process.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of inter-company trades
• Involvement in New Deal approval process
• Coordinate with Sales, Risk, Trade Support, Operations, IT
Requirements:
• 5+ years relevant experience in Capital Markets product control
• Understanding of Equity Derivatives businesses and the end-to-end transaction lifecycle.
• Sold understanding of risk based PL, risk sensitivities and their impact on PL
• Working knowledge of Equity Derivative products (variance based, limits/barriers, callable, etc.).
• Strong, executable Excel spreadsheet skills (VBA macro).
• Excellent reporting skills – analyzing, generating and verifying various financial reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
