This has as its objective fundamental improvements in the way the IB risk manages and controls its trades and positions. Finance's involvement within the RMCR program, has resulted in the BUC Strategic Reporting Program. Its aim is to 1) remediate disparate PL reporting tools into one integrated Finance Reporting Layer, such that both Financial Reporting and PL reporting is on the same platform, with the corresponding benefits that this delivers from a control and harmonised reporting point of view 2) improve PL transparency and align Market Risk's view of risk with observed PL and 3) improve and standardise the Independent Price Verification process across all products.
This team act as a separate Change Management/control function outside of line PC dealing with infrastructure renewal and a consultancy approach towards growth into new products and new markets. This means the role has more involvement with the Trading desk as the Change Team sits separately to their Product Control function and face off to the business. The team will be responsible for support to front office traders, BUC controllers and senior management.
These roles are available in the cross asset class for AVP/VP/D candidate with a good understanding for banking products such as FI / IR / FX/ EQ and Change/Projects experience. Ideally this candidate would be qualified with managerial experience,
