The Regional Telecoms category comprises the 3 sub categories of Wireless, Network Services and Network Hardware. This is a 'hands on role' which requires the candidate to lead all aspects of the initiative lifecycle from strategy development through to negotiation and ongoing management of contracts. The candidate will also be required to ensure Country Telecoms initiatives align with the Regional and Global direction for the Category.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- In partnership with global, regional and country SSCM colleges and Citi stakeholders: identify, develop, sell (to stakeholders) and execute productivity and cost avoid saves programs for the Communications Category in APAC in alignment with Citi's mission, goals and objectives. These multi-million dollar programs of work will involve saves initiatives generated across multiple geographies and businesses via sourcing and demand management initiatives.
- Lead RFP's, analyze supplier proposals, structure and negotiate supply agreements and manage supplier relations and performance.
- Responsibility to co-ordinate the resolution of commercial issues both, pre and post stakeholder / supplier escalation - keeping senior management and customers informed as deemed necessary
- Establish and lead strong supplier governance and relationship frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients, SME's (legal, risk, compliance, IT, finance) and global /regional/country SSCM colleges and at all times work in a collaborative manner to achieve optimal outcomes for the business.
- Provide direction to country centric sourcing teams utilizing category specific sourcing and demand best practices and maximizing enterprise leverage as appropriate. Work with global sourcing teams to leverage enterprise spend, best-practices and supplier relationships.
- Proactive and ongoing external research of leading practice expense management and sourcing strategy and subsequent development into cost reduction and risk mitigation strategy e.g. supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements, process efficiencies / lean, risk mitigation and standardization across Citi businesses.
- Coordinate all administrative requirements including approved supplier program, contract management system, procure-to-pay system, and category specific metrics and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an accredited College or University.
- Minimimum 5 years of previous business and IT sourcing experience.
- Financial services experience.
- Senior experience in leading complex and transformational programs
- Ability to interact with all levels of management in a professional and positive manner.

- Knowledge of ERP systems and e Procurement tools such as Oracle Procure-to-Pay, e Auction, e RFX, etc. is preferred.
