Interim Expeditor - Manufacturing - Wigan - Salary: to £25,000 + excellent benefits package
Due to continued success, this industry leading manufacturing business is looking to expand its current team and recruit a skilled and motivated Expeditor to join the purchasing team. Follow the successful introduction of new products to the market, this business is experiencing veracious demand from both new and existing customers.
With a continued commitment to supply the highest quality of product on time, this fast-paced role offers both challenges and rewards. With sound relationship building skills and planning skills in your armoury, you will be tasked with ensuring on time delivery of parts and components from both UK and foreign suppliers. The ability to problem-solve and work hand-in-hand with suppliers is vital in achieving lead times.
With continuous improvement as a core value to the business, you will be actively involved in strategic improvements to the supply chain.
The successful Expeditor candidate will have experience of working in a similar role within a manufacturing organisation, whether that be in automotive, aerospace, precision engineering, power generation or general manufacturing. As you will be using the market-leading SAP system, pervious experience of using SAP would be an advantage. Above all you must be looking to progress your career by joining a progressive and cohesive buying team within a major manufacturing organisation.
