Macquarie Capital comprises Macquarie Group's corporate advisory and equity underwriting business. With offices in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America, Europe, South Africa and the Middle East, MacCap provides a depth of services including specialist capabilities in:
- Mergers and acquisitions, takeovers and corporate restructuring advice
- Equity capital markets, equity and debt capital management and raising
- Debt structuring and distribution
- Private equity placements
- Principal products
The FIG team at MacCap is a diversified financial institutions practice, providing public and private equity capital raising, debt capital markets and MA advisory services to banks, insurance companies, broker dealers, exchanges, financial-technology and specialty finance companies. The potential candidate will have an opportunity to work with a truly global FIG group with bankers in US, Europe, Asia and Australia. Within the US, the group has offices in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
By leveraging Macquarie's global capabilities, you will apply your investment banking knowledge to assist our clients in meeting their financial and strategic needs. You will also be expected to participate in the execution of advisory and capital raising transactions and in the pursuit of new business opportunities.

Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year experience in investment banking, ideally in FIG
- Comprehensive modeling capabilities and deep understanding of financial statements of financial services companies
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
