Experienced Commodity Product Controller | Singapore based recruitment

This Leading Investment Bank is looking for an exceptional Commodities Product Controller either already at Associate Level or VP Level. The individual will represent the finance division in a primary facing role to the Commodities Business Unit reporting directly to the head of Commodities Global Product Control. Credit, Funding and Balance Sheet for the division and the associated PL reporting centres require an experienced product controller who is capable of eventually managing a team, summarize and present control risks to senior BU heads, senior FCG management and other support areas senior management. The team are happy to relocate from around the globe for this role.

Responsibilities of the Commodities Product Controller role:

-Maintain both the PL and balance sheet for the business during the continuing integration process.

-Produce the daily PL, and to control the balance sheet, ensuring that assets are reflected correctly.

-Assist with both the processes and controls in place around the balance sheet, and other general business control functions within the team including ad-hoc projects including integration.

-aMonthly responsibilities include Investor Reporting, price testing and reconciliation to ledgers.

-Present Control Risks to senior Business Heads, Senor FCG management and other support areas of senior management.

Requirements of the Commodities Product Controller role:

-Extensive experience in a product control role at a trading institution.

-Preferably experience within an organization that trades derivatives and commodities

Balance Sheet and funding experience

-Experience analyzing Balance Sheet and Credit valuation adjustment associated with derivative trading portfolios

-MS office software skills is essential.

-Experience with physical commodities markets preferred
