Title: Experienced Events Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience
An accomplished Events Manager is currently required to join a leading organisation based inLeeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a highly experienced team and work with a number of high profile clients.

The role: The post-holder will be responsible for managing a team of Project Managers and will work on a wide variety of events from £1K to £1million+ projects.
- Managing a project team to deliver successful projects
- Project costing/budget management
- Effective supplier management
- Bringing together the full team across projects
- Project process - scoping, RRs, critical paths etc
- Logistics, technical and production
- Leading project review meetings/debriefs
- Working to BS8901/ISO9001 standards
- Working alongside the Project Director on larger projects
- Working on pitches and tenders alongside the Account Team as a specialist in project management/delivery
- Coaching and mentoring on project management
- Overseeing projects
Key result areas:
- Meeting gross margin targets on assigned work
- Successful day to day management of projects and campaigns
- Repeat business gained through exceptional project delivery
Who we're looking for: We are looking for someone with extensive experience in an events project management role with a proven ability to manage events for a wide variety of clients with different requirements. You must possess experience of leading a project team and have an understanding of the full communication mix including events, communications, design, digital and video, with a proven ability to manage large scale and complex projects end to end. You will also have experience of bringing together virtual teams from across all disciplines including suppliers and will ideally possess a technical background (experience of lighting, stage etc).
