The Role:
Bloomberg Polarlake is seeking a committed Senior Recruiter with a key focus on sourcing and hiring high caliber, technology, financial data management and Capital Markets oriented candidates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for experienced and entry-level recruitment across various business groups, including the development and implementation of strategic staffing initiatives, full-cycle recruiting, vendor management, activity reporting and transactional support. Partnering and building relationships with business leaders, Human Resources relationship managers and other members of the Professional Development team at all levels will be essential.
Responsibilities:
- This recruiter will apply his/her previous financial services experience developing relationships with the business leadership and HR partners, in order to align talent pipeline to business needs at all levels and become a trusted partner.
- This individual will leverage his/ her robust industry connections to proactively identify external talent, along with their strong social networking abilities.
- Additionally, the successful candidate will have proven experience delivering results by driving innovation and exhibiting subject matter expertise in order to influence business hiring decisions.
- Manages full life recruiting process, from talent identification to new hire on boarding
- Partners with business managers and generalists to drive recruiting strategies for open positions at all levels.
- Ensures alignment of recruiting activities with business goals and objectives
- Develops relationships with senior business and HR leadership
- Proactively source for talent through multiple channels; social networking, employee referrals, internet, etc
- Adheres to all compliance and regulatory requirements. Maintains candidates slates
- Conducts phone screens and assessment interviews and facilitates candidate feedback process
Qualifications:
- Strong background working in large complex financial services organizations and/ or search firms supporting a front office environment
- Experience recruiting for technology/development roles (Server-side Java, C/C++)
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems
- Proven experience with proactive multi-channel sourcing across multiple job functions and families
- Proven track record championing and facilitating the implementation of Human Resources and/or Recruiting initiatives
- Highly developed organization and presentation skills
- Solid direct sourcing and networking skills with the proven ability to develop relationships in the Financial Services industry
- Strong attention to detail
