As an Exploration Geologist in this organisation you will be report to the Supervisor of Field Geology and will be responsible for implementing exploration programs in a safe and efficient manner. This role will see you:
- Complying with company OHS standards
- Managing contractors and field staff
- Core logging geological interpretation
- Providing day-to-day geological assistance to all mining operations
- Geological modeling
Candidates will be able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and show a high level of drive motivation to achieve results.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor of Geology or similar
- A minimum of 5 years experience in exploration
- Some knowledge of coal geology is essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with people from a range of backgrounds
