Software Tester / QA Automation Engineer
We are a Microsoft Gold Partner who requires a commercially experienced QA engineer to join our team.
You will work in a team developing on a number of platforms including Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and .NET based websites, both internal and public facing.
The role will involve participation across the Full Project Lifecycle (SDLC) and the platform is going to be Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 encompassing SharePoint, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server 2012. It will include both manual and automated testing.
You will have training in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, gain further paid certifications and on the job development of your skills allowing to progress into a more senior role. Occasional travel will be a feature of this role.
Main requirements
Skills/Experience Required:
- 3+ years developing software automation
- Ideally using Visual Studio and Test Manager as a platform
- Specifically focusing on Unit, Load and Integration tests
- Experience writing C# based test scripts
- Experience writing UI automated tests that run on a variety of browsers and environments
- Knowledge of IIS configuration and database fundamentals particularly MS SQL Server
- Fluency in English is a must
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong team player, excellent interpersonal skills, works well with others
Nice to have
The following skills will be preferable but not essential:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Experience with Mobile Development
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Microsoft certifications are an advantage
