Our National based Facilities management group is responsible for the provision and delivery of a range of facility, property management and office based services to our firm. Commercial by nature our team is made up of people from a variety of different backgrounds who share a common commitment to ensuring the delivery of client centric, cost efficient services that deliver value to our staff and leaders.
In this challenging role you will be responsible for the management of our Melbourne site to ensure all related facilities and team management initiatives are delivered in a timely and quality focussed manner. Working closely with a national group you will be responsible for:
- Facilities and Accommodation Management- Overseeing a 20,000 square metre tenancy you will take ownership for all fit out, repairs, maintenance and essential services tasks. Proactive by nature you will play a lead role in supplier management, tender negotiation and overall adherence to quality frameworks.
- Team Leadership- You will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our office accommodation, security and mail room teams. This will include driving engagement through team leads, ensuring appropriate coaching and development plans are in place and that people are empowered to deliver upon their job requirements.
- General Management- You will act as a champion for our team through both internal and external clients to ensure both day to day operational and broader project tasks are successfully delivered. This will include being the primary health and safety contact, providing analysis on budgetary management and playing an active role in broader firm change management initiatives.
To be considered you will have a minimum 4 years experience in a related Property Management role within a large site professional services or corporate based environment. You will have a client centric mindset and excellent project management skills that allow you to plan programs and deliver to timeframes. Strong interpersonal skills are a must along with an inclusive, management style and an ability to remain calm in moments of pressure.
