Huon Aquaculture Group is one of the largest Atlantic Salmon farmers
in Australia and produces the Huon brand of premium Salmon products.
Applications are invited from self-motivated, experienced and passionate individuals to fill the role of Farm Planning Manager, a key farm role that integrates farm planning and operations.
The role is based at Hideaway Bay, and reports to the Southern Operations Manager, Aquaculture. Your primary focus is to undertake and facilitate the implementation of monthly facilities planning (nets; pens and feed resources); weekly swim through plans and weekly and daily bath planning and create a 2-3 week detailed outlook for the farm.
The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years operational aquaculture farm management experience and understand the interaction between key operational activities on the farm; annual farm cycles and general fish health, growth and harvest impacts. To succeed in this role you will need to have well developed influencing skills, great attention to detail, an analytical mind and a passion for getting others on board with change and success.
