Federal Tax Senior to $90K Job in Boston, Massachusetts US
We are assisting our client in their search for a Federal Tax Senior. Responsibilities will include: support all tax compliance and tax related financial and management reporting requirements and processes; coordinate the gathering and communication of financial information to outside advisors to ensure timely filing of U.S. and foreign income tax returns; develop and maintain processes to support and monitor sales and use tax compliance; review local and property tax returns and identify state and local tax opportunities; participation in tax rate calculations and forecasts throughout year and assist with sensitivity analysis for corporate-driven initiatives; prepare workpapers in support of Worldwide FASB Accounting Standard Codification 740 calculations and documentation; assist in external audits of ASC 740 by providing them with documentation and analysis supporting tax positions and calculations as well as financial statement disclosure requirements; participate in the management of audits by federal, state and local authorities to resolve tax issues including responding to information document requests; assist in the management of various tax; and assist with planning for restructuring, integrations of acquisitions, and/or tax incentive structures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA and/or MST required; 4 + years of combined Big 4 public and private accounting experience, preferably in large corporate tax environment; experience working in a multi-state, international environment; demonstrated income and sales tax experience; proven business partnership and cross-functional abilities; strong communicator with the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of corporate staff and management; and excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines - experience with Essbase and Onesource a plus.
