Female Sensory Technician/Assistant Job in Seacroft Leeds LS142AR, Yorkshire UK
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently recruiting for a Female Sensory Technician. This is a temporary role which is expected to run for 4 months with the potential to extend. The location for the role will be based at Unilever's site in Seacroft, Leeds (LS14). This is a full time role paying approximately £16,770pa.
Due to the recruitment of new panellists, the successful applicant will help in the screening and training of these panellists. The recruit will join a team of 2 sensory technicians and will be expected to support the routine testing as well as the panellist recruitment plans. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS ROLE, APPLICANTS MUST BE FEMALE AND NON SMOKERS!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Panellist recruitment, screening and training
Conducting accurately, reproducibly and safely the key elements of sensory test studies, including (but not restricted to) setting up tests, day to day running of panels, including booking in panelists
Data analysis
Complete the routine preparative work associated with the various protocols; this involves labelling test products and preparation of computer capture system for data capture or paper questionnaires
Contribute to the wider Deodorants CTI team and programme where required.
EXPERIENCE
A Science or applied Science degree preferred but not essential
Some research experience would be an advantage
Be female, due to the nature of the testing and the use of female panellists
Experience dealing with members of the public and excellent people skills
Organisational skills and attention to detail
IT literacy including being fully operational in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), experience of analysis and data storage systems would be advantageous.
