The Corporate Banking arm of a leading International Bank has an opportunity within its growing Trade Finance Middle Office. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a solid Trade Finance background to learn the FI Trade business. This will be part of a larger regional team who work closely with Front Office to provide assistance across all documentary and operational issues on sales.
Reporting to the Middle Office Head for Trade and Structured Trade, you will be responsible for providing transaction support from deal origination to deal structuring and closing. Ensuring that deals are supported by appropriate documentation and working on agreeing terms for Risk Participation Agreements will be an important part of your role. You will work closely with Front Office teams to advise on risk and documentation issues, as well as liaising extensively with legal, credit, compliance and other business areas.
Requirements:
- Strong Trade Finance experience from corporate banking industry
- Understanding of International Trade Finance rules and mechanisms.
- Highly proficient communicator in English and Chinese is essential
- Enthusiastic and ambitious nature
