Fiber Optics Design Engineer Job in Joliet 60431, Illinois US
Description:
Our client in Joliet, IL is looking for a design engineer with fiber optic experience for an estimated 6+ month opportunity. The successful candidate will be using SolidWorks to design / breakout various products involving fiber optics used in cable assemblies, tubes, connections, specs, etc. The design position will be day shift, Monday through Friday.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience working with fiber optics (tight buffer fiber optics desired). Must have design (breakout) experience with products that involve fiber optics such as cables, tubes, connections, wireless products, etc. Design experience using SolidWorks is desired. Must have BS in Engineering (Masters Degree a plus). Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
