Oracle Data Warehouse Specialist, Banking, Contract, Zürich recruitment
The role is for a database developer-analyst with an excellent knowledge of Oracle and data warehouse.
Your responsibilities:
• Database design and development: ETL procedures, Oracle scheduling
• Oracle performance tuning
• Unix scripting
• Provide level 3 specialist support for in-house system
• Advising on application architecture, capacity management and procedures (DB sizing and monitoring)
• Performing impact analysis, testing, User Acceptance Testing and documentation
• Work closely with Business Management, other IT projects, and Finance to support change management initiatives for new products, business streams, markets and environmental changes
In order to be considered for this role, you will require the following:
• Degree in Information Technology (IT) or Software Engineering
• Minimum 5 years work experience as an Oracle developer in a data warehouse environment
• Experience with Oracle 11 g
• Experience with MS Office: Access, Excel, VBA
• Experience in banking/financial industry (desirable)
• Fluent English is a must, German - beneficial
This is a 12 months contract (100%) to start mid April.
