Fiduciary Technical Specialist recruitment

This group has the responsibility to supervise the funds assets in order to safeguard the interests of the funds investors and to protect the funds assets for their benefit. Oversight responsibilities are executed through a set of structured fiduciary management programmes

1)Perform fiduciary oversight programmes and ensure their adherence to the applicable regulations, which include:
- Regulations Adherence: make sure that the fiduciary programmes are in line with the applicable regulations and fund documentation (prospectus,...);
- Assets Supervision: identification and monitoring of third party assets, supervision of free movements (payment or deliveries), reconciliations;
- Fund Instructions Monitoring: oversight of custody transactions undertaken on behalf of funds, relating to corporate events, market transactions, income or tax receivables, through periodic reviews of the materiality and age of these transactions;
- Investment Restrictions and Concentration guidelines: ensure that the Fund Investment managers comply with the investment statutory restrictions and guidelines set out in the Law and the prospectuses;
- Net Asset Value Review: ensure that the value of units is calculated in accordance with the law and the management regulations. This task is performed through various fiduciary programmes and through a site visit to the accounting agent in order to review procedures and methodologies relating to the production of the Net Asset Value.

2) Manage the relationships with clients in coordination with the relationship manager in charge of the commercial relation and Client Services: provide technical assistance when required, participate in client on-boarding and new fund set up projects;

3) Assist Internal Clients, including WSS Sales or Products Representatives, providing information on the Belgian market or regulations;

4) Liaise with third party administrators, external auditors or regulatory authorities when required;

5) Follow and apply internal policies and procedures;

6)Understand the regulations applicable to the depositary bank responsibilities and follow the developments;

7) Participate in fiduciary technical and strategic projects.

- Graduate or Univeristy degree;
- Experience in Custody, Transfer Agency, Cash Transactions or Fund Accounting is a plus;
- French and Dutch: Fluency (written and spoken) in French and/or Dutch is required and at least passive knowledge in the second language is required;
- Written and spoken English ;
- a good understanding of the global market is a plus;
- strong analytical and organisation skills, independence and proactivity;
- able to work on a high service quality level;
- excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (excel-power point).
