Specific Job Description Individual must have SOF and communications background. Individual must possess proven capability to test/troubleshoot RF circuitry to component and LRU level. Must have the ability to work in the RF domain in the bands from High Frequency (HF) through Microwave. Must have knowledge of RF devices including diodes, couplers, filters, amplifiers, circulators and RF transmission lines. Must have the ability to build/repair coaxial RF transmission lines consisting of Semi-rigid and flexible variants. Must be familiar with and have proven proficiency in the use RF test equipment including: Spectrum analyzers, signal generators, Scalar analyzers. Individual will show ability to test/troubleshoot digital (microprocessor) circuitry to component level. Must show familiarity and proven capability to use various electronic troubleshooting tools including but not limited to oscilloscopes, DVM?s, etc. Must possess ability to operate semi and fully automated test equipment to test Communications and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. Must have proven ability to read and follow written and verbal direction as well as the capability to read schematics and wiring diagrams. Self starter who can self manage repair and maintenance operations for a family of military electronic systems OCONUS. Individual must have the ability to document and analyze test procedures and processes. Must also be capable of interfacing with remotely located engineering staff as well as use basic office software. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Individual must have prior military basic, advanced, and specialty electronics school, current clearance, previous experience with vehicle electronics as well as willingness to deploy OCONUS. Standard Job Description Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.
