Finance & Admin Officer (28 Hours P/W)

Hays are working exclusively with a Non For Profit Organisation in the recruitment of a Finance Admin Officer on a temporary basis for 28 hours per week. 

This position requires a dynamic, experienced and self-motivated financial administrator / office manager who is seeking to secure a part time position. 

The role will entail the following duties: 

Administration 

- To Act as a personal assistant to the Director. 

- To ensure the smooth running of the office including front of house services, answering telephone calls, setting up meetings and any additional ad hoc duties. 

- To update and maintain office systems. 

Events 

- To assist in organising event e.g. seminars and conferences, including finding and booking venues, arranging travel for speakers, organising catering, communicating with delegates, and the preparation of documents for such meetings. 

- To assist with promotional work including press, events and conferences. 

- To assist with the organisation of meetings and the preparation of documents for all meetings. 

- To assist with human resources/personnel issues. 

- To organise travel and accommodation.

Finance

- To administer the financial component of grants programme, monitoring and assessing financial submissions, liaising with grantees on financial submissions, providing financial reports. 

- To prepare financial reports. 

- To review and analyse statements of income and expenditure. 

- To ensure financial records are maintained up to date. 

- To maintain purchase orders and invoices.

This role is due to commence at the start of January 2014. It is essential that you are immediately available or are working on a one week notice period. Short-listing will commence as soon as possible so if this is a role of interest please apply within the portal provided.
