Finance Advisory – Senior Consultant/Manager – Financial Services recruitment

About You
You will have solid experience of implementing change within the Financial Services sector, gained either within a line role or in a consulting/advisory capacity within a professional services environment. You will demonstrate either strong global banking product knowledge, as well as experience in product control/accounting, financial and regulatory reporting and change management or have a good appreciation of the commercial, financial and risk related impacts of regulatory driven change in Insurance. A strong communicator, you will have the ability to develop relationships and convey the need for change in an inspiring way.
The role involves:
- Redesigning areas of the Finance operating model
- Working with clients to understand the implications of change initiatives on their Finance systems and reporting processes and supporting architecture
- Managing work projects on time with appropriate use of resource
- Demonstrating knowledge of client decision making and support processes and key client business drivers
- Identifying impacts and trends of client cost structure
- Performing financial analysis when appropriate
- Manage and develop staff on projects when appropriate
You will have:
- A good working knowledge of Global Banking products or Life Pensions/General Insurance products from a Finance perspective
- An understanding of how Finance and Risk functions work together
- Minimum 2.1 Degree or equivalent
- Qualified/Part Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Relevant experience of finance transformation
- Experience in core consulting disciplines such as Business Process re-engineering (Lean / Six Sigma skills desirable), Organisational re-design, Business analysis or Project Management
