Finance and Contracts Manager
We are currently recruiting into the interesting role of Finance and Contracts Manager for this well know public sector organisation based in the centre of Glasgow. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will manage a small team, monitor and report on the performance of individual contracts, which will also include ongoing liaison with operational managers to discuss and agree any appropriate corrective actions. Supporting non-financial managers in the preparation and submission of funding applications to a variety of external stakeholders, you will ensure that the required supporting evidence is provided and subsequently maintained for future funder audits. Additional responsibilities will include ensuring operational staff adhere to all contract management policies and procedures as well as the ongoing monitoring of match funding requirements to prevent over commitment or double funding.
The successful candidate ideally will have experience of monitoring and reporting on the performance of contracts or services although applications are also welcome from candidates with strong financial, analytical and forecasting skills who are perhaps looking for a fresh challenge in a slightly different environment. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential to this role as is the ability to develop and maintaining strong working relationships at all levels across the organisation.
