The role of finance business partner is to join a well-established brand name in the retail market and major banking group within their business performance and analytic team.
The client will expect you to hit the ground running supporting the business in achieving success through MI, forecasting, operating and strategic plans and decision analysis. The role holder will work as part of the UK and wider EU, spreading across multiple jurisdictions.
You will be the main representative of the EU AMUK BPA team in London making you the go to person and putting you at the forefront of the business. One of the key responsibilities will be to take part in the annual, monthly and weekly forecasting processes to ensure the businesses remain on track. You must be able to prepare and challenge forecasts and budgets.
The successful candidate must have a proven detailed knowledge of Banking, Credit Investments products and pricing, alongside a good understanding of macroeconomic factors and their impacts. You must also be a qualified Accountant from a top accountancy practise (ACA/CIMA). Other skills that are required include:
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Commercially astute and able to translate between business actions and financial implications
• Excellent understanding of financial control and governance processes and their implications on day-to-day work
• Proven knowledge in both core banking and Investment Management sectors
This is a challenging role placing you in the forefront of the business. Candidates must be confident in their abilities as they will be the main representative of the team. This role will provide depth and exposure whilst challenging you to strengthen your abilities.
