Finance Business Partner opportunity at UBS (Director level) recruitment
This role is supporting a high profile IT area (Group Finance IT) – the CIO for this area sits on the executive committee for the Group CFO.
You will be dealing with all financial matters within this business area, such as forecasting, consumer reporting, driving cost efficiency initiatives and month end variance analysis. You will be dealing directly with the senior management team and play a key role in leading the financial strategy.
Although the role is within Finance, you will have a dotted line to the CIO and will be seen as part of their management team.
You will be heavily involved with developing the high level plans for 2013 and ultimately help your IT clients to convert them into operational “bottom up” forecasts. A key part of your role will be to help your clients work within allocated funding and headcount targets.
You will be qualified as an accountant working as a Finance Business Partner for IT currently, whether within an Investment Bank or another similarly challenging, global organisation. A financial understanding of an IT business or an IT department within an international company is essential to be able to grasp the complexities of supporting an IT function.
