Finance Busniess Analyst
We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a growing blue chip media business based in the West End. The ideal candidate will have qualified in practice and then moved into a similar role within industry. The candidate will need to be ambitious, confident and articulate with an appetite for change as whoever takes this opportunity will be expected to progress quickly within the organisation.
The purpose to the role is to drive and implement change through meaningful financial and commercial analysis supporting various business heads across a number of departments.
Responsibilities include:
*Development of meaningful historical and forward looking management information and analysis to allow informed commercial decisions to be taken
*Develop timely, robust and relevant variance analysis (including commentary) to be included in the monthly Board report.
*To identify key areas for change and implement those changes across the team
*Liaise with the regions to ensure that the reporting is consistent with the underlying ledgers and that the numbers are reported correctly both on a Group and regional basis.
*Business partnering with Group and Regional Finance teams to continually evolve month end processes and support Budget Forecasting processes.
*Assist with the development and roll out of a systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
*ACA qualified or equivalent with post qualified experience
*Ideally previous experience in an analytical change orientate financial role
*Strong analytical background
*Proven track record of delivering change and driving improvements
*Ability to work with senior stakeholders
