Finance Director
An opportunity exists for a highly-skilled business partner with the demonstrated ability to think strategically and who has high-level communication skills. Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), seeks a Finance Director to effectively contribute to the leadership, performance and strategic direction-setting for this $1.3B public health organisation with 10,000 staff.
SA Health operates an integrated finance service, wherein state-wide financial services are provided through a business partnering model supporting Local Health Networks. These services include a Financial Business Advisory Service. As a finance director of the Financial Business Advisory Service, you will report to the Director of that service with accountability to the CEO, CALHN for the full provision of financial services.
Your focus will be supporting a public health organisation that is in the midst of major reforms, including the transition to the state's new flagship hospital, the new RAH, which will open in 2016.
As a key member of the CALHN executive team, critical to this role is your ability to communicate effectively with executive and senior management, including clinical leads, so that finance, output and resource inputs are consistently linked with service delivery optimisation.
Applying your strong commercial acumen and management accounting skills, you will identify efficiency strategies in a fiscally constrained environment, while influencing internal stakeholders to have increased accountability for their financial results and performance.
This is an opportunity for you to be part of one of the most dynamic health organisations in Australia. On offer is an executive contract at an attractive rate that will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
